Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my appointment take?
Appointment times vary, please add 15-20 minutes to your actual hands on time. This gives us time to talk about your goals for the session, background, follow up and schedule your next appointment
Should I take my clothes off for a massage?
My preferred method of bodywork is using a sheet to drape the body and working with the skin and tissues directly. I will typically use the phrase “undress to your comfort level” before I step away and let you relax onto the table. This may mean being completely nude or keeping on undergarments, it is up to you! We will chat openly about areas that will benefit from work so you can decide whats best for you
Whats the difference between massage and bodywork?
Bodywork and massage therapy are mostly interchangeable. Bodywork includes a larger variety of services and techniques such as cupping, stretching, visual assessments, tools and recommendations. Massage therapy and bodywork are vital to muscle function, maintenance, and well being
What if I want you to stay away from a certain area of my body?
That is no problem! Just let me know before we get started so that I am on the same page
Do I need to tip for a massage?
Gratuities are always appreciated if you feel like I have provided a stellar service. Tipping for massage therapy is like tipping at a hair salon or restaurant, you are not obligated, but it would certainly brighten my day!
